Mylife.com is harassing me with with weekly, sometimes 2-3 times each week, stating that I have 5-6 people looking at their site for my personal information, which includes my "criminal record." From what I am permitted to see, their information is false, and detrimental to me personally, and professionally. They are requesting that I pay money in order to see the details they are providing to others.

This has been going on for so long that I cannot remember when they started harassing me. I refuse to submit to their intimidation and pay them to access false information.

Today, I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission in hopes that they can assist in getting this derogatory information removed. Surely, providing false information for the whole world to see is fraud, if not illegal.

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

I just did a search with my name on MyLife and it indicates I've been arrested which is false. They also indicate I may be related to several people I've never heard of in addition to a few of my family members.

Of course they want money for a report which is kind of like blackmail with no guarantees they will correct the misinformation. What can be done about this?

I too, have been fraudulently listed as having criminal incarceration. What options do we have? Can they be sued?

My name is incorrect in their site, and I do not and have never had any sort of criminal record, bankruptcy, nor anything of the kind. Get it right or get it off!!!
